If you’re wondering what PVW stands for, it’s protein, vegetables, and water. Many fitness models and bodybuilders follow the rule of PVW. On a non-workout day, eating only foods high in protein and vegetables low in carbohydrates will keep your insulin levels down and fat storage to a minimum. You will not starve on a PVW day, as you will be eating low caloric vegetables, and high protein foods which are very filling. Drink plenty of water, eat yourself some chicken and fish, eat as many vegetables as you like and watch the fat melt right off.
#3: High Intensity Interval Training on Empty Stomach
Any type of HIIT is great for burning fat, but performing HIIT on an empty stomach, as in before breakfast, will melt away fat like no other. Interval sprints would be my favorite, but any type of high intensity anaerobic exercise will do the trick. Try to incorporate all these tips into your weekly routine and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised by the results. Eat healthy and don’t forget to exercise.

#1: Have a Snack before Bedtime to Increase HGH
When you fall asleep and enter your REM cycle, HGH is released. HGH, human growth hormone, is responsible for building muscle and is a powerful fat burning hormone. HGH and insulin can never coexist. So by consuming carbs before bedtime, you are stopping the release of HGH and thus blocking this important fat burning hormone. To maximize HGH release, try the following snacks before bedtime:

Take a day off from all the eating. It will not only help you lose weight, but also make you feel rejuvenated and clean. Juicing will help cleanse your gastrointestinal tract while super charging your system with nutrients and minerals. Just make sure to avoid or limit high fructose fruits such as in apples and oranges. Great juices to prepare are made mostly of vegetables such as kale, cucumber, celery, ginger root, carrot, cilantro, and some lemon and an apple to sweeten things up a tad without adding any sugar. If you don’t have a juicer, buy some at your local health food store or try some low sodium V8 vegetable juice obtainable at most grocery stores.

If you’re on a quest to lose weight and keep it off, here are some great tricks you can add to your fat burning arsenal. The following five tricks are not what you typically see in most fat burning articles or blogs. Hopefully you will learn something new from this list, to help you lose weight the healthy way rather than some quick fix crash diet.
#5: Keep Insulin Low for at least 12 straight Hours
When your body is in fat burning mode, your insulin levels are low. And when your body is in fat storing mode, your insulin levels are high. You cannot ever be in both fat burning and fat storing mode at the same time. Consuming carbohydrates at any given time will spike insulin levels and thus put you in fat storing mode. I suggest backing off all carbs for at least 12 to 16 hours each day. This can include sleeping hours. The best times would be after 6pm until the following morning.

I recommend getting your daily carbs in for breakfast and post workout. Your body is most receptive to insulin spikes post workout and will help to build muscle. And more muscle also burns more calories. For those of you not on a workout schedule, I strongly recommend doing so.
